Couples & Relationship Constellations

Many relationship struggles are systemic before they're personal. This work reveals what's actually running underneath the recurring fight.

Recurring relationship conflict — the same argument in different clothes, a partner who withdraws, a pull toward people who aren't available — is rarely just about the two people in the room. Constellation work often reveals that each partner is carrying, and unconsciously enacting, patterns from their own family of origin: roles, loyalties and unspoken rules about love, closeness and conflict that were set long before this relationship began.

In a couples or relationship-focused session, Albi works with you (individually or together) to see these dynamics clearly and give each partner's system its rightful place — separate from the relationship itself. This often creates immediate relief: what felt like an unsolvable character flaw in your partner (or yourself) reveals itself as an old, inherited pattern that can finally be set down.

What This Work Can Help With

  • See the systemic root of a recurring relationship conflict
  • Separate your partner's inherited pattern from your own
  • Reduce reactivity by understanding what's actually being triggered
  • Rebuild a relationship structure that isn't secretly running an old family script
  • Available for individuals working on relationship patterns, or for couples together

How a Session Works

Naming the pattern

We identify the specific recurring dynamic — the fight, the freeze, the withdrawal — and trace it as far back as memory or intuition allows.

Constellating the pattern

Using markers, representatives, or guided imagery, we set up both family systems and observe where the entanglement actually sits.

A new image

We close with a resourced image of the relationship as it could be — each partner standing in their own system, meeting the other freely.

Is This Right for You?

This work tends to resonate most if:

  • You keep having the same fight with different words
  • You're drawn to unavailable or inconsistent partners
  • You want to understand your attachment patterns systemically, not just psychologically
  • You and your partner want a shared session to see your dynamic more clearly
Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do both partners need to attend?

No — this work is powerful whether done individually (looking at your own relationship patterns) or together as a couple.

Is this couples therapy?

No. It's a complementary systemic practice. Couples working through significant relational distress should also consider a licensed couples therapist; many clients use both in tandem.
